I got a phone call while on layover one day from WAMI. They wanted to invite BiCafe on their show for a feature about web sites. In speaking with Anthony Marino, it was decided there was enough content to do a whole show. They let me choose the title - it was "Bisexuality."
I had not done anything like it before and was ill prepared for it. The lies and deceptions they put on us came to me as a complete surprise. I nearly walked out of the building 2 minutes before I was invited out. The temperature of the place exceeded 110 degrees and I was soaking wet and uncomfortable. It was becoming apparant they were looking for shock value as the show was to be aired during ratings week.
With the help of BiCafe members Fred, Bryson and Luigi - we managed to keep shock practically non-existant. Special thanks to the wonderful Dr. Marilyn Volker who also appeared. Marilyn did an amazing job of keeping the show informative, upbeat and lively.
